Just picked this up... it's a nice tool for recording even just multiple guitar loops ...playing both mike & stone's riffs and then adding a bass line...and then you can export the song right to iTunes and onto the iPod or a CD. Just wondering if anyone out there had any other tips or comments on this pretty solid program.
peace,
Will

I was gunna do a post a thread on the same topic... thinking of going for a Mac myself. How are the drums on garage band? Have you been plugging your guitar directly in and using an amp effect or miking your amp?
Those who dance are called insane by those who dont hear the music
  • I haven't played around with the drums too much...it seems like a major pain to use them to simulate a "real" sounding drummer, rather than just a machine. i either plug my guitar into the computer through my amp or just use the built-in amp presets in Garageband. it's got built-in effects, too. flanger, wah, chorus, etc. and i can play around with those forever.
