this may be a 200w EV ... not sure.
They seemed to mostly come that way ...

think i'd find something better if i kept looking?

a 1x12 mesa with a nicely ported front seems pretty killer, imLAMEo.

    Lets see how much shipping sets me back.

    I bet on $50 or so.
    I told him he could ship it the slowest ground possible,

    since I wont be seeing the Lead1 anytime soon.

    Mesa Cabinet Shipping Cost Me:
    $49.96 for UPS ground. Packaging is $20.65. Insurance is $1
    OUCH!

    $1 per pound, huh?
    PLUS $20.65 worth of cardboard and peanuts? Holy fuck.

    And yet, if they break the fucker, it only cost me a $1.

    Oh well ...

    It IS a nice cabinet ... thought $270 is probably a bit high in retrospect for a speaker covered in fairly well worn tolex!

    Let me/the board know how the Lead1 turns out. I have the Zvex Nano amp paired with an Orange 2x12 cabinet, loaded with CV30's. I actually thought it would be quieter than it is, but no. It's really loud. I guess part of that is due to the CV30's with their higher sensitivity.
    And if hope could grow from dirt like me, it can be done
