What pedal boards/cases offer the best bang for the buck from your experience thanks!
Well, it's one louder, isn't it?

this guys used to have bigger ones too. maybe they are just out of stock. best deal i've seen for a locking pedal case.

    also have a look at

    dccase.com

    and

    nycpedalboards.com

which are both really good from the looks of it.

Homemaid too. Go to home depot. Pick out some plywood and flat black paint. Cut to size. Find a couple of old scrap wood for the base to raise it off the ground a bit. If you want you could build in a handle or whatever. You can then cover it with speaker carpet if you want but velcro works fine to fasten the pedals as well. You can get as simple or as complex as you want.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

if you have an old suitcase or briefcase around. that could work as a case for a homemade board. i've even seen rectangular guitar cases gutted and used for really big boards.

my board is made out of 1/2" MDF from home depot. i carry it (well, i would carry it if i went anywhere) in the bag meant for my old SKB powered pedalboard (a bad investment by the way. don't bother with the SKB pedalboards. their cases are awesome though).
