Vox Amps

I'm getting rid of one of my amps (it's a Line 6) and am thinking about getting a Vox Amp. I was wondering if any of you have used them before, and if they are a good brand. I know I've seen U2 and Arcade Fire (two bands I highly respect) use them in live shows. I looked around on Musician's Friend, I don't want those costly Classic Custom ones!
Depending on how much I get for the Line 6 amp, I'm looking to spend between $500-$800.
