I love that guitar too. I bid on an identical one on ebay a few weeks ago. Went to high though for the condition it was in.

My favorite guitar in the world
I miss you already, I miss you always

I don't even think he had the Schecter with him, just the magic box of SG's.

The SG's are pretty damned sweet, though, you gotta admit... !!!

I'm a hardcore Gibson fan (classic Les Pauls and Explorers, mainly) but I play nothing but Fender Tele's right now. And I love my Tele's to death! Although it's important to note that both my Teles are far from normal... I hate the classic Tele sound, personally. In fact, I've never heard a Fender single-coil pickup that fit me, personally. I've got beefy DeArmond pickups (like a P-90) in my Tele Sonic and a Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pounder in my Mexi Tele/Esquire bastard guitar. High-output single coils... I've always said that my dream guitar is a Tele with P-90's. I love the feel of a Tele (or a Strat), they play really well, but man, their sound is so thin and lacks body.

Besides, Ed's most famous Tele was a Schecter, not a Fender, so it's sort of a moot point...

His coolest guitar ever, in my opinion, wasn't the schecter tele, but the 'skateboarding is not a crime'-fender that got smashed. That one however also had a hummy in the neck...

    here's a pic or two

In my religion, we all have little '59 Strat emblems on necklaces... when we encounter evil, we make the sign of the '59 Strat... when someone starts complaining, we just tell them that "We all have our little '59 Strats to bear..."
