"Alcivar" les paul knockoff?

yeah so it's sunburst, old, and solid body heavy as hell like a real les paul, i bought it the day soundgarden's superunknown came out (march 9th 1994?)

anyway i could've sworn i saw an add for this this of guitar years ago in a mag, ring any bells? anyone ever heard of them?
