It looks worse than it is... he basically has a mini PA system in line with the rest of his gear. He sends his cleans thru an echoplex and a chorus, sends one dirty thru a Chandler overdrive and one thru a CryBaby wah and a FuzzFace. Two Deluxe reverbs for stereo clean, one Marshall for overdrive, one Marshall for fuzz. He then mics the amps, and sends them thru a Mackie mixer. The mixer sends out to a Memory Man and an MXR digital delay, returns the signal to the Mackie. On/Off switches for both the Memory Man and the MXR. The signal gets sent from the board to the Front Of House console, as well as to two powered monitors, so he doesn't have to have his cranked amps blowing out his eardrums onstage. Very nice... that's certainly one way to do it.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
That makes more sense. lol. I like the idea that the sound coming out of the amp is delayed...instead of having the delay as the last in your pedalboard before going to your amp. I wonder if it makes a noticable difference.
