Looking for an acoustic bass.....for someone just starting out.

    My brother has one made by a company called 'Cascade', company based out of Seattle. I know he likes it, and picked it up for about $400 CDN new out the door.
    Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

    Epiphone actually makes some pretty decent acoustic basses for under 800 bucks (canadian) play one and see what you think. allways remember to give it the plugged in test to to ake sure you still like it.

    I got a nice Ibanez for under $400. Plays great :) My only complaint it the action is pretty high, but not many bassists like to play the high notes.
