Hot Rod owners...

Just bought a used Hot Rod Deluxe. Got a nice deal, but it showed up with 2 bad 12AX7's. I left the guy a message, maybe he'll replace them....maybe not. I went ahead and ordered a set of JJ's. If the guy comes through, I'll have some extras.

Anyway.....when I actually get to play this thing.....

What kind of settings sound good to you? Master? Volume? Pressence? Gain? Bass? Trebble? Mid?

Just turn everything up? :p


....playing on a Mexi Tele btw....

    How is the BDRI compared to the Twin for clean tones? The 65 Twin reissue was gorgeous.
