any new yorkers looking to start a band?

Hi I'm a singer/guitar player from long island/NYC, im in a band now but i'd liek to start another one, take it in a different direction, you'd be set up pretty well, free recording, easy getting gigs. I have osme mp3s up on http://www.ardisrecords.com under dead city radio(thats my band) if you wanna check out my vocals.
