I am looking to put new pickups in my electric and the only thing i really have read any thing about were dimarzios.
Just wondering what pickups PJ (or anybody else you like) uses and if dimarzios are good pickups.
Distorted-- i play rocky bluesy stuff, not nessacarily(?) Pearl Jamish, sometimes it does have a resemblence though
Clean-- i play a reggea kindof chord progressions stuff and some mexican sounding stuff
ANY help at all would be wonderful , THANKS.

I absolutely hate DiMarzio pups, but different strokes...
Go surf around at http://www.seymourduncan.com for a while, see if anything grabs you there.
Copycat...
That's my arrangement. Gibson Classic 57 in the neck with chrome cover, and Seymour Duncan '59 in the bridge, open-coil. It's fucking gorgeous tone (and don't look bad, either).
Gibson Burstbuckers are good, and just about any Seymour Duncan model. Also look at Harmonic Design: http://www.harmonicdesign.net Kent Armstrong: http://www.kentarmstrong.com and Lindy Fralin: http://www.fralinpickups.com I'm sure there are other suggestions worth checking out, but they go up in price significantly from there, and may not be worth it for a "cheap Washburn."
hey man its the set up ive wanted for so long on a les paul, yet u did it with a tele, haha
