i was wondering if any of ya know how can a band insurence their name so no other band can use /take it??

is that possible?

    try either copywriting it, or set up a LLP which is what a band does once things usually start to take off. The latter can be a bit costly to do & you have to file corporate taxes, however all your gear is able to be written off & if you value yourself nice & high you can claim a salary more than your corp. nets in a year so you end up not paying taxes on it. same goes for the easiest way to set up your own publishing account.
