I got a little samson 8 channel mixer there a couple of years back. I didn't have any problems and the price was the best I could find for it.

Yeah, pretty much all the internet/catalog outlets are the same. I like Musician's Friend, just because I have good history with them, but I've ordered from 8th Street Music (http://www.8thstreet.com) a few times as well. Sometimes one place will have a special, you can save $10-30, depending on the overall price, but most of them are within $5 of the rest, especially with shipping. Although Musician's Friend has free shipping on orders over $199 right now.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
the best thing you can do is to find something you want. Then do research about it elsewhere like http://www.harmony-central.com or some other forum. These places know little or nothing about pedals or other equipment and how they perform in relation to other gear.
Find 4 or 5 different places that sell gear and shop around before you buy to get the best price.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
