guitarists, poor kid needs advice

I don't have a lot but need good effects. What should i get? I'm in an alternative band and need additions. all i have is a distortion pedal. Tell me wht i should get

    just depends on what sounds and textures you want to create. without knowing what you're after, anything we say would just be arbitrary.

    i would suggest either a wah or delay pedal. the wah just because its such a classic effect that adds so much to the rythm if you do it right. the delay because you can do so much with it, however for playing gigs its a little hard changing around the settings, but it can be done, and it can produce some pretty crazy sounds.
