Startin' a band in KC

OK, it's time. I am a lead singer/rhythm guitarist looking to start a band in Kansas City. I've been doing the solo acoustic thing live for about a year now and I'm getting bored. I've got about two or three dozen originals, just waiting to be electrified! I'm looking to form a three or four-piece. Obviously PJ has been an influence (as they are the greatest R&R band in the past 30 years), but it's not blatant. Other influences include JJ Cale, Neil Young (and his Crazy Horse), Kevn Kinney, Gov't Mule, Elliott Smith and Wilco - among others.
