I just want to cry....

I was (am) listening to this vinyl and as I was every so carefully flipping the record to side B...

I dropped it and is slammed against the stereo shelf and now has scratch marks on BOTH sides!!! How the fuck did I get them on both sides? I just panicked as it was slipping from my grasps.

Holy shit, how things can change in a mere split second. FUCK!!!!!

I am so pissed at myself now.

    Sorry to hear it! I imagine the LP sound has a warmer sound than on CD. Are there scratches or skips or both? Damn the bad things when they happen.

    Way more pops and scratches...but so far no skips on side B. I am just hoping for no skips at all. The pops and scratches just remind me of what a idiot I am.

    If only I could go back in time like 20 minutes - I would opt to play the CD instead of the LP. Damn it!!!

    That sucks animal. Man, I would probably cry if I scratched my copy. Thankfully it doesn't have any skips. If it gets bad enough or you can't live with it anymore, you can always donate it to gorillavinyl.com to have it made into a wallet....lol.

    That sucks! It reminds me of why we originally switched to cd's when they came out and got rid of most of our albums. Lots of ours weren't "pristine" as you can imagine, since that was all we had. :D We don't listen to our vinyl too often as I'm afraid that will happen, but it's better than not listening at all. :)

    I partied in that boat after i got the LP. I dropped it behind the record player. Luckily not too many pops thought. There is a scratch on it. Its funny how much people sell that for now.
