  • that would be a lot of fun to check out some killer gear. If only it was around May 16th and 17th...would be a lot more convenient :)
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike

"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

uh yeah I really want to be there for this.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

It should be a really good time. I guess there are a bunch of hush-hush surprises. I am trying to get them to tell me, but nothing :)
I do know Bjorn's wife is coming in and she is going to customize pedals for people.

Exactly, I wouldn't rule it out...

FWIW, I was getting some wonderful Yield era tones with the EGDM, HB, and PPF and the 335... DTE and Faithfull sounded best to my ears...

Now the 335 and the HB absolutely NAIL the Let it Bleed album, front to back... especially Monkey Man and Gimme Shelter. Middle position on the pups and some dirt from the hb. The Savage helps get that tone too.

All of these things I wish I could share with the group.

Bjorn and his wife would love to hear you play!

I have had a ton of luck getting stones tones with the HB, BBOD, BPB and my victoria. I use the SYT for some of the tracks as well and it nails them.

I have never had luck getting PJ tones. I get close, but with their gear always changing I have found it best to just use my own sound and get a groove going.
My wife bought me a Tube Tape Echo for my anniversary this weekend, I found out by mistake, and I am really excited to get the echo going with the rest of my chain.
I am glad you are diggin the 335, Mark just put one up and it is calling me, along with that R4 and real P90's :)
