Nice. I so lust after a Gold Top Les Paul. One day. What's the R6 stand for? I'm guessing Re-issue.
  • Nice soapbars. :D

You may want to have that sent back though,
looks like the finish is already checking!

    very nice indeed, J.
    how much does she weight?
and are you changing out any of the hardware or are you leaving it stock?
let me wild-guess it ... stock. i know, why fuck with it. it is beautiful.

    nice score!
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

    Re-Issue 1956.

I am not a big fan of Murphied guitars at all, but i love 56 P-90 LPs!

    Thanks :)
She is just over 8 lbs, very light for a R6. This was a Japanese guitar, so everything is top notch, the fret board is perfect. I am swapping out the P90's for real ones and leaving the hardware as it was done properly back in the day :)
I have only seen one other Murphy R6 and it was pretty fantastic. The R7's are just amazing but I wanted a P90 guitar.

color is perfect, excellent light for the pics. Well done by Murph on this one.

this will absolutely melt a heart of stone through your little vic. That and the saffron yellow trem will make a perfect pick up and go blues rig.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
