    check out rick's page, http://www.giventowail.com

There may be a picture of it there, most of the bands gear is listed.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Only acoustic listed there seems to be a 1968 Gibson Hummingbird... so I suppose it should be that one... or does does he also play others?

He's got some other ones. I've seen him play a few Jumbos. I know they have a J200. It could definately be that one. I haven't seen that show so I'm not sure sorry. He dosen't bring the Hummingbird out often. I don't think he'd take it to play out live. Too dangerous. It could get scratched, dented, breathed on wrong....

    and http://www.gibson.com

you'll probably find the one there.

Hey, thanks for that aand... I don't want to be boring now, but the one in the pic should be mike not stone (it is dark, but stone that night was wearing a visor!).

There's more mistery than I expected around mr mccready's acoustic guitars!!

in any case, whatever that thing is, it sounds damn good!!

ah, so it is, My mistake. That looks an awful lot like a Martin Dreadnaut to me. Which one? Wow, that's a tough one. It's definately one of the D's though. I'm going to speculate D-18 maybe.

It's a dreadnaught certainly but not the hummingbird.

    a martin!

that's funny, 'cause I've been starting considering fancying about putting away some money to buy a martin lately... (totally wasted money for my level of skills, by the way) then I said, wait a minute, what guitar is mike playing in that pre set? that's the sound I like! let's ask message-pit people!

It certainly means I'm doomed to buy a martin ;)

    thanks a lot!

  • He has a Taylor 6 and a Taylor 12 for this tour.
