Ukulele question

So i've kinda had the urge to get myself a Uke as of late. It seems easy, fun, and it's something different. In Musician's Friend they have two listed, both for only 20 bucks (i figure that'd be good for starters). One is a Soprano and the other is a Baritone. Now i'm not sure, but i'm gonna guess that Ed plays a Soprano...am i right?

    he plays a tenor uke,....but the most popular uke is the soprano,.....i myself took up the instrument a few years back, of course it was when Binuaral came out :)......but all the books and etc are mostly for the soprano,...i have a soprano and a baritone uke, the baritone just sits in the corner,.....

    so would i still be able to play songs such as Can't Keep and Soon Forget with a Soprano rather than a Tenor uke?

    All ukeleles play the same, they are just different keys. It's like the difference between a half-sized guitar, a full-sized guitar, a baritone guitar, and a bass. If you know how to play one, you can play them all. It will just be pitched higher or lower.

    If my memory serves correct, a soprano is a bit higher-pitched than a tenor.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    I have no idea what my uke is...... it has 4 strings and it sounds good though!!!
