any pj fans in sydney who play an instrument?

just wondering if any pj fans are around who live in sydney and play an instrument...i primarily play guitar but if theres a drum kit or bass guitar around im happy to give it a go...
i dont have any effects pedals or anything as yet cus i just started working so im saving up for one, but at present i have a shitty ibanez and a small 20 watt amp but all the musos i know are into the blink 182 shit or red hot chili peppers which isnt that bad but not my style....
i dont really care how old you are. well im 18 but yeah im open for all people. ive been in a few bands but theyve all fallen apart. doesnt have to be a serious band thing but it would be nice to have someone to jam with who actually LIKES pearl jam and doesnt have to be forced to play it.
(note: i am also foo fighters fan)
so yeah, if any musos around here from sydney area, reply or PM.
