my amp died a week or so ago, so I picked up a 1/4" to 1/8" converter and jacked into the line in of my computer. I then discovered that I could turn on all these effects, I have reverb, distortion, autowah, echo, at my disposal..and that all works..while I'm playing live with headphones on. but I want to be able to record something, and have the eax effects applied to the wav file. any way to do this? I hope I made sense :/

  • When you go to your volume control and then recording properties instead of playback, Does it have a 'What u hear' listed? If it does then all you need to do is select it and/or make sure its not on 'mute'. It will now record anything that is played through your computer.

I have an Audigy ZS platinum and i have this option but im not sure about other creative sound cards, worth a look anyway.
  • righteous, it worked :)

    thanks :)
