'Secret' being the key word here. Lots of us locals didn't know about it until after the fact, unfortunately.

It's a whole lot cheaper to see a show in your own area rather than having to travel to a show. And being that Ed has made his name being a Seattle musician and still lives here, and that his tour skipped right over Seattle (it would be different if his solo tour was on the east coast, but it's not) so many people held out a lot of hope that he would do a proper Seattle show where local Puget Sound fans have the opportunity to buy tickets and go to the show, like the other cities on the tour were afforded. But sadly that never happened.

I was however extremely lucky to have caught Ed's 2nd secret West Seattle show recently, so I am super happy about that. But, I still understand the major disappointment for there not being a publicly scheduled Seattle Ed solo show.

I am still holding out a little hope that Pearl Jam will announce a summertime Gorge show with Ed opening up for the whole band...maybe in July, August, or early September.

well they didnt play seattle last year,it would be odd for them to go 2 years without a gig at home.there has been maybe 3 times they havent played at home

It would be very lame if Eddie didn't play a real show here, or at least Pearl Jam. Its been three years!

I am thinking if they are going to announce a WA state show, they will wait until after the MSG/DC public tickets go on sale this Friday.

I am still holding out hope!!!

Anything to back up the Seattle prediction? Or are we just hoping? I'm heading out to NY, so i'll get my fix. But i haven't missed a Seattle show in 15 years.

no...just that up until 3 years ago they played at home at least once a year.
was surprised they didnt play last year as that was 2 years in a row.
just not normal for them, unless they have all moved to......vancouver.....ya!
