Although I've tried this before with no luck, I'm going to try again.

I'm currently playing in a cover band in Detroit, but I've been wanting to do a few grunge tribute shows around Detroit and want to know if any musicians are interested. I play guitar and sing, but would rather just play guitar or trade vocals. You can hear me in my current band at http://www.kung-fujockeys.com Like I said, I'm not looking for anything permanent, just do a few shows to have fun and maybe make a few bucks and play some awesome 90's grunge i.e. Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.
Doesn't really matter what instrument you play, if I get a couple of responses to this I can fill in the rest of the group with musicians I already know.

  • that would be cool! I'm currently in a PJ cover band in Chicago called Brain of J http://www.brainofj.net and right now it's taken a back seat to our original band (The Dollars). but playing in a cover band is hella fun and can be quite profitable :D

  • Hey Amy. I wrote you an email awhile back about your band's website. How's everything going? I noticed that you haven't updated the brain of j site in a while, so I figured you guys weren't playing that much.
