After years of endless searching, I've finally put together a PJ/grunge tribute cover band! I finally convinced some of my hockey buddies (who are also good musicians) to start this thing. I believe that one of my first posts on this board was in search of musicians in the Detroit area looking to play some Pearl Jam, which was probably 1 or 2 years ago, and finally I've not only got 1 cover band, but a PJ/grunge tribute band too. How fuckin sweet is that? If it were up to me and the singer, we'd play nothing but PJ, however, the bass and other guitar player insist on doing other grunge bands as well. Bands that we'll cover include Temple of the Dog, Mad Season, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Blind Melon(which I really don't consider to be a grunge band, but anyways..), Soundgarden, etc. I can't wait to do some shows and throw on my flannels and boots and fuckin rock out!
