Well, obviously for just about everyone the Nady PEM 03's are the most affordable, with 4 receivers and the transmitter will run ya less than $300, but are they any good? Does anyone have any personal experience with these.

I'm guessing these are really intended for translators and speeches, and not necessarily a full band mix.

What other PEM's should I look at without breaking my pocket?

Thanks guys

  • in ear monitors really coem with the price. Also if they are setup wrong, they can do damage to your ears, and also, your music as a whole. They are very tricky to get good at, and you need to put quite an investment into them. You should have a mixer dedicated to your in ear mixes, and then make sure you have someone that knows how to operate equipment help you. They are very tricky devices, and shouldn't be bought for cheap either. they also fall out occaisonally and then your stage just sounds so quiet. I like stage monitors.
