just picked this up today, previous owner was Jimmy Vivino

I never knew how versatile this delay was. Quite an awesome pedal might I add.

    yeah it is pretty good. probably my first pedal that i bought that i was like wow this is very nice sounding.

    im stuck between buying another one or the ibanez analog delay. never played the ibanez so its a hard choice.

    Honestly, I'd say the Ibanez. If it's the AD-9, that' what I played.

    yeah its the ad9 but i know how good the dan-echo is and im not sure i want to take a chance and be let down. but everything i heard about the ad9 has been all praise.

    i like the toggle switch on the dan-echo, more pedals need something like that.

    I know Stone had the Dan-echo on his 2003 board and Mike's always used the AD9 (Or some BOSS analog) so they're both PJ related. I just like the AD9 better but honestly, if both pedals are in good working condition, you're gonna win no matter which pedal you go with.

    there's a mod that can be done to the dan echo to get it self-oscillating like the ad9 and dm2/dm3

    quite an easy mod too

    never played an ad9

    but the dan echo has a lot of versatility that i went for.

    are you debating between an ad9 and a dan echo?

    play em both first (if u can)

    if not..pick up the ad9, and then whenever u have $50 laying around, grab a dan echo, that's all.
