Where to find a rare guitar

I was wondering if anyone had any other methods of tracking down a rare guitar. I am looking for an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor LEFT-HANDED electric guitar. They stopped making the lefty a few years ago. I have seen it on ebay once before, but was hesitant to spend the money...it went for about $500 bucks.
Anyways, i saw another one on ebay that ended on x-mas eve, but the guitar looked a little beat up.

Man, I really want this guitar, but they are hard to find.

I think that converts to a lotts US $$$ though. But it's good to know. I think that one is new also. I can only find used ones in the US because i think they were discontinued here.

SO I emailed them at guitarampkeyboard to see if they deliver here.

The Canadian store may be cheaper than the UK store.

Yeah, when it comes to British pounds, you might as well double it and thats what it is in US. Order it from Canada, you'll actually get it a little cheaper than the CA $.

Just ran a currency conversion...

499 gbp = 976 usd (too bad that's not Euros!)

825 cad = 710 usd

Yup, double! Thats why going to England can bankrupt an American! My ex went to school there for a year, the money I wasted going to visit her... but anyway...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! They have it on there for $500! I'm going to email them about the condition, and if it's good, i'm going to order it. I have been saving fore this guitar for awhile now...thanks again for help finding it!

yeah, there's one going on ebay right now, but it starts at $500. I might go up to 525, but I probably wont get it. Plus the guy hasnt responded to me about how much shipping will be.

it's usually around 40-50 bucks for shipping from what i've seen. not for me since i'm in canada but most of the auctions seem to say 35-50 for shipping within the US.
