why are they so fragile!? does any body know or have a link that might show a do-it-yourself ebow? it'd be alot easier to just figure out how to make one and then not have to shell out $70 every time you accidentally drop one and it never works again. thoughts?

    Tie a string to it, and tie the other end of the string to your mic stand.
    Then if you drop it, it won't hit the ground - plus the string won't interfere with anything.

    that is a brilliant idea. i might have to try that myself. its easier than doing the old "toss and pray" technique.
