okay, i adjusted the stopbar tail piece on my ephiphone les paul and was wondering if anybody here can tell me what the factory adjustment was before i screwed around with it? i lowered it a bit too much and had too many dead notes. i want to try and get it back to the way it was from the factory.
many thanks!

Was it the stop bar, or the bridge? The factory specs are really just for reference, so you have a place to start. You can probably just keep raising the bridge bit by bit until you're happy.
Give the neck a look, too, to make sure it's straight. As the weather changes, or string gauge or a lot of other things, the neck may have bowed forward or back bit and you adjust the truss rod but you probably are fine just raising the bridge a bit.Be kind, man
