What I am trying to find out is for 14b16==(14)r , Do I hit the note coming down off the first bend or do I just release it without hitting it?

i think you release the bend without hitting the string. i believe that the parenthesis are around notes that are not picked but still heard because they are fretted. that said jimmy plays so fast who knows what hes doing sometimes, i gave up on zeppelin solos despite loving their music. i have gotten better since then so maybe i should try them again. still hes so fast and clean, he may in fact have a debt with the devil to settle.

Thanks I was thinking you shouldn't strike it coming down as I don't think that Jimmy does on record.

Would I be correct in saying that where there are the two == the bend should not be struck on the way down but it should be struck if there is only one =?
