hey right now im looking around at guitars and i think im gonna go to a guitar center near me tomorrow and i will try some stuff out...ive been looking at the fender strat (the normal 350$ one) and 62strats epihphone les paul.......but i saw an epiphone sg special for only 150 bucks! i thought the price was low so it must not be that great but i was just wondering if anyone knew anything or can give me some pointers (im looking mainly to play a little of everything like pj, audioslave, radiohead, acdc, led zeppelin, nirvana, coldplay, rage against the machine, etc)

    You will go in there, and one guitar will speak to you.

    For all those influences, it's hard to recommend one guitar that will cover all the bases, so go with what feels right.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
