The bass player I play with is gettin a new bass amp. He is goin all tube. He asked me about this Traynor

http://cgi.ebay.com/TRAYNOR-YBA-200-2-ALL-TUBE-BASS-AMP-YORKVILLE-NEW_W0QQitemZ160170793234QQihZ006QQcategoryZ121159QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I told him they have a kickass warranty, and my Traynor sounded good, but I don't know anything about their bass stuff.

Could somebody either recomend or not recomend this bass amp.

Other recomendations?

  • I have no exerience with the New Traynors, only vintage ones. And those sounded good as long as you got the toronto build ones.

Ampeg has just discontinued there 100 watt all tube head, but if he can get his hands on one of those, it's work it.

Natural tube compression is just fantastic with a bass amp!

If he ends up with that, keep me posted please!
