My Whammy woes

Anybody ever break a 1/4" input on a Whammy reissue. I have and I need some help fixing it. When I broke the jack i took the dry out jack and put it where the input jack was. still doesnt work. Does anyone know if not having the dry out is disabling the pedal? Also, if its not that, does anybody know what it could be.

    dry means no effect.

    you'll need to open the case and soldier in a new jack, or take it to a tech and let them do it.
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
