Fixing a Whammy reissue

I think I am going to attempt to fix my digitech whammy pedal. The 1/4" input cracked and broke off. I replaced it with the jack that was used as the dry out jack. By removing the dry out jack did this break the circuit? I may try to fix it if it's that easy of a fix. Otherwise I will take it somewhere. Also, how is digitech at fixing stuff sent into them?
