Sony NetMDs and mics

So i bought one of those t-bar mics for my NetMD Walkman and I've found that sounds I record to a mini disc can't be downloaded to my computer. Is this right? Does anyone here know anything about this subect. Whats the point of having a mic if you can't save what you've recorded on you hard drive. Maybe I can do this? Any help would be great.

    you cannot digitally transfer music from your netmd to your computer. you can put it on analogue-style by running a cable from your headphone/output jack on your netmd into the computer's microphone jack and using a program to record it in real-time.
    seems that needlessly its getting harder
