sorry, I meant EQ Pedal

so my teacher let me borrow his EQ pedal (and If I like it, he said he's sell it to me for $30) pretty good deal seeing as its around $90.

Anyways, I hooked it up to my Valvetronix AD30 amp, and maybe I just don't know how to work it, but I don't really notice any significant improvement in tone. I don't have an overdrive pedal or anything, so not sure if that makes a difference, but whats the trick to really benefiting from this pedal?

thanks

    You mean the GE-7???
It depends on how you sweep it.
You can pull your sound around quite a bit (mid cut for sharper rhythm sounds or metal tones, increased bass frequency, ect, ect).
I've used one several times for a purely clean boost (like a solo boost pedal), just raise the level.
Decent deal for $30 - they cost $99 new.
    Cheers . . .
