So whats the word on these People? Friend of mine is considering one, but nobody has one to try out. The sound samples seem extremely well. He will put it in front of 18 watt Marshall, playing a Tele American Deluxe thru it.

Whose tried it?

Its actually the clone, and I honestly think it sounds better then Marshalls reissue.

I cant help you but all i can say is i like the sound of Fuzz, and 69, and Tele all in the same sentence. It sounds like it give the sort of sound i like maybe something like what the black keys get.

I'm a huge Black Keys fan. There tone is really all about power tube distortion and tube rectifiers. The tone gets that good sag to it. He plays thru old fenders, ampegs, and I've even seen Marshalls.

He has that old Gibson fuzz that sounds awesome (the mistro, I believe its called).

  • I have the Fulltone 70' and it is awesome. I actually A/B'd it with the 69'. I chose the 70' because at the time I was looking for a nastier fuzz. However, the 69' was pretty amazing.

Also, if you want to hear someone who is using the 69' then check out the Wilco live stuff with Nels Cline playing guitar - a lot of the fuzz is his 69'.
And if hope could grow from dirt like me, it can be done

I want, both. But I'm again waiting because I want to hear this tri germanium fuzz Mike has in the pipeline.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Now that sounds interesting. My buddy just got a '69 fulltone on ebay yesterday for $110.

    Not bad

I'll give the heads up when I hear it.

I know the Fulltone Soulbender has 3 germs, so do you have any idea on what sound Fulltone is going after with this new 3 germ pedal?

I would love to get the Soulbender...so many pedals, so little time.
