Black Keys last night

Dan was playing a Reverend for most of the set last night. Jet Stream shape, with the Wilkinson tremolo.

The big 4x15 Marshall Cabinet, with the Plexi on top towering over the the little Twin next to it.

Sounded killer as always. Needed to send the sound man on a vacation, mix wasn't so hot.

Good show as always, everyone should try to get out and see them at least once.

I agree, such a great band. IMHO, people always want to compare them to The White Stripes because they are just a guitar and drums, but they are leaps and bounds above them. Their riffs and just pure soul are undeniable and Dan's voice is just ridiculous.

Comparing the Keys to the Strips is like comparing steak, to Cheese cake. Both are cool, but completely different from each other.

How can one actually sound better singing live then on a album? I don't know, but Dan does it.
