Any one with any playing expereience with these. Comments?

    These were amps made by Leo Fender after he sold the Fender company. They are generally the same circuit as Fender amps, but some contain solid state components. I have played a few, and they sound fine. However, whether they sound fine for you depends on what you want to do with them. Here is the URL of a site that restores MM amps.

    Yeah I know they are mostly fender circuits all leo built.

    I have hot-rodded one of these, so it was an all-fender circuit, like a Bassman. It sounded fine. As project amps, I think they are great, because you can usually pick them up pretty cheaply.

    That's what I've noticed, no retail value. I'm actually getting board of every bass player having a SVT rig behind them. It's time for something way off the wall. I know SVT is where the tone is at, but I'm thinking a 130 Musicman with a Fullton Bassdriver in front of it through the right cabinet is goign to rock hard.
