9's are on the peavy at the moment but I've pretty much decided I have no use for 9's. the new strat will get at least 10's

I tried them for a while on my SG, but man were my fingers sore!
Now I use 12's or 11's:D
MoNkEyNuts, If the heavier gauge bows the neck out a little, yes, you have to tighten the truss rod a little bit, and usually tighten the tremelo springs if you have one.

I swear by them...
you do this in order to compensate for the extra tension on your neck from the heavier strings.
i use ghs boomers - 10s on my electrics
i use elixer 11s on my acoustics
and i use fresh wound air on my air guitar.
