Turning tapes into cds

is there a magical way to do this
I have a tascam 4 track
can I plug it into my computer
or do i just smash them together until something
beautiful comes out and is circular in shape
and i can see my reflection in it

    does your tascam have a red and white RCA out jack?
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    ok, all you need is an interface with recording software. I bought one (rca to usb) for $40 from Circuit City.

    here it is.
