they sell rotating speakers too.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

It's a very nice big 10 inch.............rotating speaker. I'm just wishing for a foot pedal speed control.

I think you guys should build a rotating speaker cabinet with a bunch of speakers rotating in different directions and speeds!

I always wondered about this toy:

    Or his little brother:

Re-load those cabinets with your favorite speaker... that would rock! Be pretty nice for live situations with a good PA and monitors. But recording... talk about isolation. You could record an entire band live in a single room, with the singer in a booth, and have almost perfect isolation. I would love to try one out.

Hey, exhausted... here's a toy for you and your POD:
    http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=031030202616209206230188149753/g=guitar/search/detail/base_id/49201

Just plug the POD into that thing, and it's beautiful, transparent, and the perfect size. It's built for a Tech 21 preamp, but I'll bet it would rock with a POD.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

atomic is making one now too. actually integrates your pod into the cabinet.

both great ideas if i ever needed to get loud.

Well hell... for $300 US, that's a great deal. I'm almost surprised that Line 6 hasn't built something like that yet. Now, if the power amp was just tubed... a pair of EL34's in that thing, stereo, with two Celestion Greenbacks. That's what Line 6 needs to make. A 2x12" cab with internal all-tube power amp, putting out like 40-60 watts.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

Well, that's almost exactly what I was talking about. Get a pair of those for stereo, and you're set. But they gotta cost some...

yeah, i imagine they will. time will tell. one of those could make a very good dirty amp.

    interesting concept.

you'll notice all these companies coming up with stuff like this in the wake of amp modellers.
