    I've never played one either. But listen to a Entwisle Bass Solo. That's Ashdown. Seems cool.

    Didn't I spend a week telling folks the Ashdown stuff was on sale?

    I don't know much about their guitar amps, but their bass amps are the shit. Entwistle, Adam Clayton (U2), and Jeff (PJ) among many use Ashdown amps. Very nice.

    Plus, they have a VU meter on the front... hell, it just looks cool.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    A friend of mine has one of those Mesa Boogie all-tube bass amps, it's got like 12 power tubes... un-fucking-real...
