Dan Donnagan (disturbed) designed. Might be cool that guy makes some cool guitar sounds. This should be one of those out there type of pedals might be fun to play with.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

It has a cool name for sure. Looks pretty solid too.

If I had it I would take it to sandiego and beat certain scam artists to death with it!!!

It depends on if it actually does what they say... to me, it sounds too good to be true.

That said, if it does what it says, it would be a cool toy to have in the arsenal.

Yeah, it didn't sound like something I would jump at, either... but I'm a minimalist, anyways. Guitar into amp, maybe an overdrive... I do have delay and phaser, but they're for fun more than anything.

everytime i try to be a minimalist, i end up with 10 pedals. it's ridiculous.

of course, if i was actually playing live, i'd be down to 3 so that's ok.

Yeah, Ex, you are the biggest pedal junkie on here. I have all the speakers, you have all the pedals, Bob has all the guitars and amps... hey, Paco, what do you bring to the table?

If we massed our gear together among the Gearhead regulars, we could take over Latvia.

Immense and detailed window shopping. I am a junkie.

Electronics facinate me but I usually buy one piece at a time however I try everything I can get my hands on. I guess my home theatre system is pretty nice.

I have a deep desire to know what everything does and how it sounds. How it all workd.

That's good... we need someone with an ear for new stuff. Paco is research, Ex is development. You two are practically married already.

Hey Bin Frog is the Auto Wah kind of like an envelope follower? Kind of a funky 70's shaft type of sound? I'm wondering I guess what all it will do.

Same idea, slightly different sound. Although it can be set up to be more input sensitive, I usually think of an envelope filter for that kind of effect, and an auto-wah for more of an automatic effect. Just imagine a wah pedal set on automatic repeat. I don't use it a ton, but it has it's uses.

Ah, very american, instead of using the wah pedal over and over get a machine to do it for you

    :)

That's why I rarely use it :). It was my first pedal, and I didn't know it was different than wah.

I don't know the name of the song, but the auto-wah can be used (when the rate is set to very fast) to sound like the effect used in the 60's song that goes "You better stop, hey, what's that sound? Everybody look whats going 'round"". You know that harmonics sound he makes? That's what the auto-wah can do.
