My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

No worries... thanks for complimenting the guitar I play though...

I actually like this bridge better than a tun-o-matic... I like the feel of it more... more sustain... the notes, to my ear, develop differently.

How's the quest for a strat going? Have you ever considered a G&L Comanche? Different pups, but it is a beast of a guitar...

I spotted a good deal on one, let me know if you are interested...

Yeah, I've considered G&L for sometime I've pretty much decided on an American Deluxe Ash strat for now unless I find the perfect sunburst G&L. For 1100 bucks I can't find a guitar with the looks and features I want more than this one. I really want some new Graph Tech Saddles for my Les Paul and the strat as well but honestly if I could find a perfect PT SG I'd probably trade and be left with no humbuckers for a while anyway.

I love the Pete Townsend SG. SG's are so resonant anyway I just need to get comfortable with the shape. My buddy has an SG special that I love, the stop tail has to ring with even more full sustain. The tuners certainly help those nasty gibson tuning ideosyncracies.

Besides that, how fucking rock does it look. I bet it sounds incredible on that DR Z.

The Dr. Z is so simple and the tone is scary...

I sometimes just run straight into the amp and use my volume/tone knobs on the guitar...

It just sounds so good with P-90s...

The Townshend is a great play too. Extremely comfortable, very fast... and it just rings for days with the Ghia overdriven.

I should have some more clips this week from our last show. There the two will be on display.

I mentioned the Comanche because I found one online for $800. That is a great price for such a quality instrument... it has the gun oil tint neck too.
