    good to see him go back to that tele after playing those weird shaped montrosities for so many years. i wanna hear an mp3 of him wailing on "my guitar gently weeps" from last night.

    Yeah he's a damn good guitar player too.


    I think Shecter made all those really wierd custom jobs.

    i saw a "cloud" guitar on ebay a while ago for like 10G.

    I saw that performance and thought it was awesome that he is playing a tele.

    The coolest guitar schecter made was a tempest for billy corgan (maybe the whole tempest line started with billy corgan?)
    It has a set neck and two p 90s.

    I would consider getting it if I could get the exact same colours as billy corgan (which look amazing)

    You can get that Tempest now. They are shipping them out now I believe.

    The color is cherry or some form of which I'm pretty certain.

    Townsend would probably dig it.

    has anyone played one of the tempest series? how does their playability compare to the new PTs? especially the neck...

    haven't played one yet. the best bet is to check the fretboard radius specs.

    Check them for a telecaster for instance http://www.fender.com

    and then go back to schecter and cross reference. If the specs are the same as the PT it's going to play and feel around the same as I recall most schecters have that fairly shallow neck.

    any other info on this guitar? the hardware all looks pretty sweet... I think there it got the neck specs at schecter website when you look at the specific guitar but i dont know how to read them

    the corgan one is nasty, though i found it odd that they put p90s in it, because i think ive only seen him use a guitar with p90s maybe once. He used lace sensors in strats, i know that. That custom line of schecter has weird ideas, very creative if nothing else.

    yeah they look rockin... if the sounds good ill be getting one... thats why i was asking bout the P-100s
