My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

77 bucks, I got in with only 13 secs left, so no time to bid, oh well.

that's unfortunate. it probably would have been nifty.

they have a '70 pedal and a distortion pro at the shop here. i was surprised. i didn't both trying them but i may tomorrow for the hell of it. no interest in buying either one though.

right now my brain is contemplating dumping my rickenbacker.

What are you going to dump the Rickenbacker for?

    5 Zvex fuzz factories?

i'm not going to. i'd never find another one. but i never play it either. i'm taking it in tomorrow to get the neck touched up. the wood has shrunk and the frets are sticking out. and it doesn't stay in tune etc. but it's beautiful so i can't drop it. it and the two gibsons are the triple crown right now.

i want that hand-wired 20W marshall. $3000CAN for the head and cab.

so it's not going to happen.

cornford sounds too close to cornhole.

The Fargen as well as some of the offerings by Greg Germino are essentially hand wired Marshalls that don't cost an extra 1500 for the name.

you really should come to Atlanta. I can take you to places that have your choice of Dr Z's, Savages, Vintage Fenders, Two Rocks, Diezels, Bogners, Oranges, Marshalls, and more.....

i wish i had that much selection. it's just mesa, marshall and fender here most of the time.

the "other" guys have the bad cats and oranges but they overcharge for the privilege.

i need to quit thinking about this stuff.

I know what you mean. I was really close to trading the orange for a Savage Macht 6, then I remembered I was guitar shopping not amp shopping.

upon perusal of fargen's site, i think i really should focus on something like the bastage. maybe i should suck it up and try a mini cat at the "other" place.

699 american dollars for the Bastage, around the same for the mini cat. That's kind of a toss up. I love the old plexi looks and sound of the Fargen though. If you were looking at the 20 watt marshalls the fargens just a much better deal.

Pretty cool clips at musictoyz. Gibson + Fargen = instant jimmy paige

i tried a univalve today. only $700CAN used. it was lovely but i couldn't justify it. so i rented a pro jr for a month instead.

talked to two techs today. one thinks the SG crack is just a lacquer crack and the other thinks it's the start of a headstock break.

i don't know what to think. i'm pretty depressed.
