Mike Lull (one of Jeff and Mike's favorite luthiers) has released the Texas.

    so many tele clones it gets hard to set yourself apart eventually i would imagine.

    essentially. Tom Anderson, Don Grosh, John Suhr, Mike Lull, G&L and a host of others. Everytime a Fender Custom Shop employee moves on, another company and another tele clone is produced.

    and then theres Paul Rivera.....

    I just posted it because of the band's love for Mike Lull's work.

    i'm sure it's a good guitar. i guess folks just become fans of certain builders and stick with them. which makes sense.

    when i'm king, all teles will have my wiring scheme though.

    it's hurting a bit right now until i get the new saddles and nut ordered. i can't adjust the string heights all that well so things are getting pretty gibbled.

    i love having dual volumes though.

    Mine has two volumes AND two tones, plus a three-way switch in the place Seth Lover and Les Paul had it.

    You did a great job with what you had... all you need now are some better knobs (or at least matching ones).

    i plan on ordering all new components at some point. but at least i know it works. it's a bitch fitting three full size pots in there.
