We’re shining a light on Citizens Inn – March’s recipient of the $2,500 Future Days Fund! Founded in 1983 and based in Massachusetts, learn about their important work from nominating Ten Club member Larry L.:

“Without a safe, stable home and food on the table, it is nearly impossible to live a healthy, productive life in today’s America. Citizens Inn meets families where they are, providing individualized support to help people navigate housing crises and food insecurity with dignity and hope. I see firsthand how this work changes trajectories, not just for individuals, but for entire families and future generations. Supporting Citizens Inn means investing in stability, opportunity, and a stronger community for all.

Citizens Inn is deeply personal to me because I see firsthand how safe housing and reliable access to food can completely change a family’s future. Every day, my wife [a Senior Development Officer at Citizens Inn] witnesses the resilience of parents doing everything they can for their children, and the relief that comes when they finally have stability, or seniors who no longer have to worry about whether they can eat or afford their medication. Supporting this work means helping neighbors move from crisis to hope, and that is something I’m proud to stand behind.”
